Spell Deck Thief - is a turn-based deck-building roguelike game with unique battle mechanic. You play as a thief wandering through an ancient castle in search of a lost relic. Collect a deck of magical spells and defeat creatures and enemies. Adventures await.

How to play:

Each turn, you and the enemy play 3 cards. Cards are compared by power. The card with greater power will deal damage to the opponent. Combine cards with different effects skillfully to defeat the enemy.

Important:

It is very important to understand the cards and their correct combination! Right-click to get detailed information about a card, such as its type and effect.

Perhaps add a fight theme for battles, as water drop sounds are really irritating when you think.

Tip

You could write simple loop and find best available row of cards and show this after each battle .Iff player get highest damage possible he get coin.

Really enjoyed the playthrough! Given the power of some of the cards I was really impressed with how well-balanced it felt!

simple concept but beats 99% of other games here

Hello , love the concept bu its to short

1 If you could make this run repeatable so i can build my deck further more.

2 there is not enough options to burn cards deck is starting to grow wich is starting to be difficult not becouse of oponents but rng from drawing cards.I know that rng in card game is most fun but the bigger deck you get the rng stating to be more of your oponent than your enemies in game which is bad design.

Make these two tweaks and it will be great and give me more time to satisfy with this game giving you more tme to bring more content.

Im programing aswell and i think making this loop and leting you fighting same level over and over leting you keep your cards and increasing difficulty with simple numbers is not hard to do.

But reemember just let this modifier to the player . Here is a great idea 

Let the player burn card but it wil increase difficulty by x where X is simple modifier in line code .We could say that x will incrrease hp and half of the cards by 1.

I am planning a new update with the ability to start run with a different deck. With "classic" and randomly generated ones, for example. I hope this makes it more replayable.

About removing the card. I think that's a good point. I might add an option to burn the card as a reward. As an additional reward for a few coins or as a free reward instead of a new card or upgrade. What do you think?

i found one bug seed power cant be upgraded it shows 1 still after upgrade

Yes you can add burning card as part of the reward system for example option to choose between geting new card or burning something. You can also include possibility twice in the run t pay to burn it thats ok for me.

From my perspective as a player is beter to be able to collect cards from the run and then from those to make a deck for the next run.

Dont give from the beging free cards to the new player it kills the drive to collect something . 

to make it more replayeable ;

-only way to collect cards is to beat the creatures ,dotn giev acces to new cards from the begining let it be reward.

-randomly generater cards are also good thing

-make another level with new creatures

-make possible to increase difficulty for the next run like in diablo 2. Since player will collect cards and make better stronger deck creatures also needs to be stronger somehow. 

-make some different ways doors to enter secets.

Seed card can't be upgraded as some other cards. I thought it would be overpowered.

I got your idea of collection cards and building your own deck. It's appealing. I think how it can be done.

Like the concept but took a little too long per battle to reread the cards everytime. perhaps the symbols and effects should be more obvious without having to hover.

firefox + windows

This is common with Godot projects on firefox at the moment, here’s a work-around that usually works:

Right-click the game, choose Inspect, find the direct link to the game (here that’s currently https://html.itch.zone/html/10066910/index.html ) and open that link.
